No Progress/Compromise Reached

Putin's Accusations Against Europe

As reported, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated in an interview with the Fox News channel that some progress has been made in US-Russian talks on ending the Russia-Ukraine war.

"What we've been trying to do, and what I think we've made some progress on, is identify what the Ukrainians could agree to and what would provide them with security guarantees for the future," Rubio told Sean Hannity.

In recent weeks, US efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war have intensified. On November 19, the online publication"Axios" first reported on the draft of a 28-point US peace plan. Official confirmation of the existence of such a plan was soon received. However, it was immediately criticized as too favorable to Russia.

Several negotiations between US representatives and Ukrainian, European, and Russian representatives followed, resulting in a revised version of the plan.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin held talks in Moscow on Tuesday with US President Donald Trump's special envoys Vitkoff and Jared Kushner. After the talks, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said the parties had agreed not to make the substance of the talks public.
