Last minute statement from the Pentagon. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff spoke about the Iranian attack they called the 'Midnight Hammer'. Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine said,"We pulled off a perfect surprise" while Hegseth said,"We prepared for months and weeks. The world didn't even know."

In a last-minute statement from the Pentagon, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth explained the details of the operation they called 'Midnight Tow Truck':

- It was a strong order from our commander in chief. This is what Trump said the entire time he was in office, he said, 'Iran must not have a nuclear weapon.'

-Thanks to President Trump's leadership, we have eliminated Iran's nuclear ambitions. Many presidents have dreamed of ending Iran's nuclear activities, but none have succeeded.

-It required months and weeks of planning and preparation in the form of positioning. It was carried out with the highest level of operational security on the orders of the President.

-The world didn't even know about it. In this sense, it is a significant success.

-The attack was the first use of the MOP bomb (bunker-piercing bomb).

-I would also like to congratulate our Commander-in-Chief. He managed the operation very effectively.

-Our goal is not regime change in Iran.

US CHIEF OF STAFF: OPERATION DECEPTION

Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the following:

-B-2 aircraft went to the Pacific to protect and conceal tactical positions during the night of Friday to Saturday. With the deception operation successful, the operation went into an 18-hour flight with minimal communication.

-As President Trump said last night, other planes also hit their targets and bombed two target areas with a total of 14 bombs. All Iranian nuclear infrastructure targets reached Ishafan again at 02:10 Iranian time and a surprise and shock effect was established throughout the operation.

'WE HAD A PERFECT SURPRISE'

-We made a perfect surprise. A total of 75 ammunitions were used, including bunker busters.

-A total of 125 American aircraft, as well as B-2 stealth bombers, submarines, destroyers, and hundreds of personnel participated in the operation. It was the largest B-2 strike mission in American history and the first MOP bomb mission. It was the second longest operation after the 9/11 operation.

-As the President said, no army in the world could have accomplished this.

'IT WAS A BREATH-TAKING OPERATION'

When asked by a reporter,"Are you ready for a long operation?" Hegseth replied:

Rest of the News

- Iran needs to make moves accordingly. One of the lessons to be learned here is the incredible cooperation between the American military and its different branches, the magnitude of such a complex operation is breathtaking. If you could see it in real time, it would really take your breath away.

-President Trump looked at all the data and made a bold decision to protect American interests and end the Iranian nuclear program.
