"Many of our now major allies in the Middle East, and in the regions surrounding it, have expressly and with great enthusiasm told me that, at my request, they would be happy to enter Gaza with strong forces and ' settle Hamas ' if continues to misbehave in violation of our agreement," wrote Trump on Truth Social.
"The end of Hamas will be swift, fierce and brutal"
He added that "love and spirit in the Middle East have not been seen for a thousand years" and that it is "beautiful to see."
"I told those countries and Israel : 'Not yet!' There is still hope that Hamas will do what is right. If not, the end of Hamas will be swift, fierce and brutal," Trump said.
The President thanked the countries that, as he stated, offered him assistance, especially highlighting"the great and powerful country Indonesia and its outstanding leader" for support to the Middle East and the United States.
Trump's statement comes as the fragile ceasefire in Gaza, brokered by Egypt and Qatar, continues, and after months of tension between Israel and Hamas. In recent weeks, the American administration has been intensively negotiating with regional partners about stabilizing the situation and a possible political solution to the conflict.
