Norway can contribute with security guarantees when it comes to air defense and maritime security, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj.
He held a press conference on Monday with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Ap), who is in Kyiv. Støre did not make any concrete promises about contributions to security guarantees.
Zelenskyy further said that Ukraine aims to use at least $1 billion a month from allies to purchase weapons from the United States.
He himself will speak with US special envoy Keith Kellogg, and Ukrainian and US officials will meet this week.
They will discuss potential security guarantees and preparations for a possible meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
