US President Donald Trump promised to"deal with" security guarantees for Ukraine, but said that Europe"will be first." He writes about this Clash Report.
"Well, we'll deal with it. We'll help them. Listen, we want to save a lot of lives, so we'll do something about it. I think people expect it. We'll help them. We... Europe will be first, and they want to be first, and they want this to end. Europe wants this to end," he stressed.
Trump is confident that Europe wants a settlement in Ukraine and has stated that it will play a key role in providing security guarantees.
"There will be either an end to the war in Ukraine, or a hell to pay for. I put an end to seven wars, and the same awaits the Ukrainian conflict. And we will do something else. But it turned out to be a little harder than I thought. And it will be done," the president said.
He also believes that the war in Ukraine must be resolved peacefully, otherwise"the price will be very high."
Security guarantees for Ukraine
The French Foreign Ministry previously reported that 26 countries have already expressed their willingness to provide Ukraine with security guarantees after the conclusion of a peace agreement with Russia.
The agency also informed that if the aggressor country continues to postpone the meeting of the leaders of Ukraine and Russia to discuss ending the war, then they will take measures.
