Iga Świątek has made a permanent mark on tennis history. The 24-year-old became the first Polish singles player to win a Grand Slam trophy on Wimbledon's grass courts. In the women's singles final, she defeated Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 and received the new Wimbledon champion award from Duchess Kate.
"I felt like I was a really experienced player, I'd played Grand Slam finals in the past, but never this. I definitely want to thank my team. They believed in me more than I did. I want to thank my coach, who joined us this year. We've had our ups and downs, but now we've proven that it all works. I can't forget the entire team that has been with me for many years. Without your support, trust, and self-awareness, this wouldn't have been possible," she said after receiving the trophy.

The next day, before the men's singles tournament was crowned, Iga Świątek appeared in the royal box on Centre Court, where the traditional photo session of the Wimbledon champion with the Grand Slam trophy was organized.
The Polish player immediately caught the attention of those present at the venue. It was all because of the outfit the 24-year-old wore for the occasion. She opted for a dusty blue dress with a draped waist. The designer behind the design is Victoria Beckham – a member of the Spice Girls, fashion designer, and wife of English football legend David Beckham. It seems the Polish actress wanted to show her appreciation for the British designer, which is precisely why she chose this particular dress.

The dress Iga Świątek chose is still available on Victoria Beckham's official website. You can buy the exact same dress for €990, or approximately 4,200 złoty.
