At a press conference, Debby Wilmsen, the spokesperson for Tomorrowland, announced that the festival is still considering two scenarios. Either Tomorrowland will fully reopen on Friday, including a new main stage, starting at 2 p.m. (instead of noon)."But there's still a lot of work to be done," said Wilmsen."And it has to be done safely."
If the organizers don't get the green light to fully open the grounds tomorrow, the festival will continue on the fifteen other stages, all of which are ready. This will, however, have consequences for the 38,000 festival-goers with camping tickets. In that case, they will have to stay at Camping Dreamville, where they will be able to enjoy a party.
The intention is to go for the"full monty" on Saturday and open the site to all festival-goers, including the new main stage.
