Bolsonaro gives details of the Federal Police operation at his home

During Federal Police (PF) warrants on the morning of this Friday, 18 , at addresses linked to Jair Bolsonaro (PL), a pen drive was found by police in the bathroom of the former president's house.
Bolsonaro claimed that a Federal Police agent asked to go to the bathroom and returned with the device."I've never opened a flash drive in my life," said the target of the action, adding that he would ask his wife, former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro, what the device was.
When asked if the evidence had been planted, he backtracked:"I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just surprised. I'll ask my wife if the flash drive was hers." The statement was made in an interview with reporters, after the former president put on the electronic ankle bracelet.
Later, in an interview with Rádio BandNews FM , Bolsonaro stated that one of the Federal Police agents said she had cut her finger, and he pointed her to the bathroom so she could clean the blood. The agent then returned with a flash drive."I've never opened a flash drive in my life," she repeated.
In addition to the pen drive, the PF found around US$ 14 thousand and R$ 8 thousand in Bolsonaro's house in Brasília and a copy of the action against Minister Alexandre de Moraes , of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) , in the United States.
Like his father, federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) insinuated that the flash drive may have been planted by federal agents."Serious case! Planted evidence to incriminate Bolsonaro?"
The searches, however, were filmed by the Federal Police , which used body cameras on its officers to capture footage of the action and counter accusations of irregularities in the operation. The recordings, however, should only be presented if the defense formally contests the search and seizure operation.
Internet users took the opportunity to mock the situation by recalling an episode from 2022, when Eduardo, criticized for having traveled to Qatar while Bolsonaro supporters camped in front of barracks,.
