Vasilis Spanoulis dedicated his Eurobasket medal to Hellenism everywhere.

The National Team broke the 16-year curse and beat Finland 92-89 and won the bronze medal at EuroBasket 2025.

Finally, Vasilis Spanoulis said: I hope that in the next tournaments we will not have such heart palpitations. The 16 years of abstinence were a long way from a medal. And even if I am not in the National Team, I will be its biggest supporter.
