This Sunday, October 26, 2025, the political movement Pacto Histórico is holding an open internal consultation in which citizens can participate without having to belong to any party. The event, which is taking place nationwide, seeks to determine the movement's presidential candidate and the order of the closed lists for Congress for the 2026 elections.

The consultation is participatory in nature. Any Colombian over the age of 18 who is registered as an elector can go to their polling station and exercise their right. No political affiliation or prior membership in the coalition's groups is required.

The main ballot of the day includes Carolina Corcho and Iván Cepeda, who aspire to become the sole candidate of the Historic Pact in the upcoming presidential election of the Broad Front.

Another ballot lists 145 candidates for the Senate of the Republic. The results of this vote will determine the order of the closed list, which will be equal and represent the movement in the 2026 legislative elections.
