This includes advanced negotiations on a deal under which Ukrainian drones manufactured in the United States or Europe would be exported back for use by American forces.

"We have begun negotiations on a unique technology exchange agreement that will give the United States access to Ukraine's advanced technologies in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. This partnership is not only a strategic advantage for Ukraine, but also a real contribution to the security of the United States and its allies around the world," said Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanyshyna.

Sources told reporters that U.S. and Ukrainian officials are also discussing the possibility of exporting liquefied natural gas from the U.S. to Ukraine.
