The Secretary of Public Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch , said that no line of investigation is being ruled out in the murder of the mayor of Uruapan , Michoacán, and the location of the mayor's attacker's lodging has been identified.

Although the killer had no identification, García Harfuch said that the weapon he used is linked to at least two clashes between criminal groups in the region.

In a press conference, García Harfuch said that this was based on the C5 videos and that they are also conducting interviews with witnesses and requesting videos from nearby businesses to gather more information.
