Yılmaz Tunç’s statements to the press are as follows; CHP has virtually turned into a center for producing lies. You can never eliminate the truth. Lies will inevitably be exposed. Today, especially since last night, he created an expectation again and said, “I have very important documents in my possession.” On the AK Party’s founding day, a completely baseless perception was created that “the AK Party will collapse.” These claims were repeated based on the statements of the structure at the Republican People’s Party Headquarters that has now become a center for producing lies. Today, we all saw that such a situation is not the case.
When did the judicial investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality begin, and what footage was the initial outcome? The investigation began after footage of the Republican People's Party (CHP) headquarters' provincial headquarters was released to the press. These images showed money towers and suitcases full of euros, and the suspect's friends were the ones who leaked the footage to the press.
Based on the individuals featured in those images, the investigation was expanded and expanded to include district municipalities. From the outset of the investigation, the Republican People's Party (CHP) leader immediately became defensive. Without knowing the contents of the file or understanding the accusations, he attempted to portray the investigation as a political operation.
"INVESTIGATION IS NOT A POLITICAL OPERATION, BUT A JUDICIAL PROCESS"
However, a responsible party leader should await the process and respect the judicial process. The white sheep and the black sheep will come out. At this point, we believe our colleagues are innocent, but the judiciary must be respected. Unfortunately, the CHP leader did not do this.

While the investigation was ongoing, corruption continued in some district municipalities run by the Republican People's Party (CHP). It was caught red-handed in Manavgat. They attempted to claim responsibility for the footage before it was released, but backed down when the money in the baklava box was discovered.
The investigation launched against the former mayor of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality initially drew support, but the public saw that the necessary procedures for conducting the investigation were followed completely. The files were handed over to the prosecutor's office in bulk.
"MANIPULATION THROUGH JUDICIAL INVESTIGATIONS DOES NOT PROVIDE GAINS TO THE CHP"
Article 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is clear. Public prosecutors are obligated to initiate an investigation upon receiving a tip-off or allegation. Failure to do so would constitute neglect of their duty. The prosecutor is obligated to gather all evidence, both in favor of and against the suspect.
This is what's being done. Manipulating judicial investigations brings no gain to the CHP or its leader.
Today, we celebrate the 24th anniversary of the AK Party's founding. There's a movement attempting to manipulate or overshadow this important day. Twenty-four years have passed, and our nation has kept the AK Party in power for 23. This is because the party is responsive to the people's demands, has invested in all 81 provinces of Turkey without discrimination, and has implemented reforms to ensure a high standard of democracy.
Unfortunately, Turkey's main opposition has consistently pursued lies and disinformation, rather than advocating for sound policies. This approach stems from their failure to understand the reasons why the AKP has remained in power for 23 years.
Regarding the HSK, despite Özgür Özel's requests, the Board of Judges and Prosecutors acts according to its own agenda. This board, comprised of honorable members of the country's judiciary, reviews submitted petitions and initiates the necessary preliminary investigations and investigations. The CHP's manipulative rhetoric and insulting statements against the HSK are fully retracted.
Dear friends, one day you called Özlem Çerçioğlu"Turkey's most successful mayor," and the next day you criticize a mayor who has resigned. This is a contradiction. The CHP leader's rhetoric lacks consistency. Consistent and clean political practice would be in her own best interest.
