President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy declares that Ukraine has never used American long-range weapons to strike targets deep in the rear of Russian territory. As an UNIAN correspondent reports, the head of state said this on press conferences in Brussels.

In particular, the head of state commented on the statement of The Wall Street Journal that the United States had allegedly lifted restrictions on the use of long-range weapons against targets on Russian territory.

"I'm not sure that I will discover something new now. We have a clear use of long-range capabilities of Ukrainian production. And we are the ones who use long-range capabilities of Ukrainian production from 150 km to 3 thousand km. These are our newest capabilities," Zelenskyy noted.

At the same time, as the president emphasized, the question arises of how to obtain additional funding to mass-produce Ukraine's existing long-range capabilities. Zelensky emphasized:

"I don't know who writes what. We have never used long-range American weapons for very important purposes on the territory of Russia. This is important. We used various weapons that have good long-range capabilities. But this was purely in the territory of combat operations, or preparation for corresponding combat missions by the Russian Federation. And therefore, Crimea and the east are Ukraine. And we cannot talk about the use of this or that weapon not only of Ukrainian production on the territory of Crimea, as if it were on the territory of Russia. No, this is on the temporarily occupied territory."

As UNIAN reported, on October 22, The Wall Street Journal published information that the administration of US President Donald Trump lifted restrictions on Ukraine's use of certain long-range missiles , provided by Western allies, to destroy facilities on Russian territory. At the same time, Trump called this information false. According to him, the United States has nothing to do with the means used by Ukraine.
