In a press release, the National Railway Office (ONCF) announced that it has reached an agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF). ONCF thus becomes an official sponsor of the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations - Morocco 2025, confirming its commitment to supporting one of the continent's biggest sporting events.

The official ceremony took place in Rabat in the presence of Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and First Vice-President of CAF, as well as Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Director General of ONCF. This partnership is fully in line with the vision of King Mohammed VI for the development of sport, the strengthening of African unity and the emergence of a youth that drives progress and ambition, ONCF stated.

As a major player in mobility in Morocco, ONCF will leverage its entire network and expertise for the event. The goal: to offer a fast and safe travel experience between the various host cities (Casablanca, Rabat, Agadir, Marrakech, Fez, and Tangier) and allow millions of fans to experience the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in optimal conditions.

Through this partnership, ONCF reaffirms its mission to connect territories and bring people closer together, placing sustainability and inclusion at the heart of its actions, it explains.

With this collaboration, CAF and ONCF reaffirm their commitment to making AFCON 2025 an exemplary, sustainable and accessible competition, serving the fans and promoting African football, concludes the ONCF press release.
