The vehicle was found and attacked several hundred meters from an area occupied by Israeli soldiers. According to the IDF, five terrorists were eliminated.

The WCK is a nonprofit organization run by Spanish-American chef José Andrés that provides humanitarian food aid."We condemn anyone posing as a World Central Kitchen aid worker or any other nonprofit," the organization said in a statement to US media."This unnecessarily endangers citizens and aid workers. The safety of our team is our top priority."

The IDF claims the terrorists "cynically exploited the situation." "In this way, they attempted to conceal their activities and remain unscathed. By doing so, they are seriously damaging trust in emergency services."
