EuroBasket has entered a crucial phase. We already know that Turkey will face Greece in the first semifinal. Early Wednesday evening, we learned the starting lineup for the second semifinal matchup.

Finland, which defeated gold medal contender Serbia in the quarterfinals, now has a comfortable victory over Georgia. The Finns won 93-79. The match in Riga was initially very close, but gradually the Scandinavian team gained the upper hand. Team leader Lauri Markkanen was awe-inspiring.

After the break, the Georgians got to work, winning the third quarter 22-14. This, however, woke up the Finns, who were thrilled with their three-point shooting. Georgia's situation was even more difficult in the final minutes, as they lost their star player. Gogi Bitadze was ejected for an unsportsmanlike foul.
