Donbass and NATO are the key obstacles in the peace negotiations between Ukraine and America, which was proven by the talks in Geneva, Ukrainian media reports, referring to numerous sources. Precisely because the delegations could not reach an agreement on these two issues, they were transferred to Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, who should reach a final solution. The Ukrainian media"Antikor" states that the negotiations for the Ukrainian side were so tense that the Secretary of the Council for National Security and Defense Rustem Umerov at one point broke a pencil in his hand.

What was agreed in Geneva?

Negotiations between America and Ukraine were held yesterday in Geneva, and European officials were also present.

The Ukrainians came with the aim of changing some details of Trump's 28-point plan, which are unacceptable to Kiev.

They partially succeeded in that.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio made it clear that the development of the peace proposal on Ukraine - "a living, dynamic document", as he called it - is a process that has been going on for three weeks before the high-level talks themselves and will continue outside Geneva.

He pointed out that this is the most positive meeting that has been held so far and said that he would like everything to be finished by November 27, when Trump asked Zelensky to respond to the plan, but that it will probably take more time.
