The Casablanca community has decided to develop a roadmap for managing its facilities related to the sports and cultural sectors.
The Casablanca community is considering authorizing the local development company “Casablanca Animation” to study the current situation of sports and cultural facilities, develop a roadmap for their management, and establish unified standards for their management systems.
The Casablanca municipality is expected to approve, during an extraordinary session at the beginning of next December, the delegation of authority to the development company in order to begin developing a vision for how to manage the municipality’s public facilities related to sports and cultural affairs.
Through this step, the group is betting on breaking with the randomness in management that many sports and cultural facilities are experiencing, and the absence of a unified system for them at the level of the 16 provinces.
According to collective sources, complaints from civil society organizations in the provinces about the way facilities are managed have prompted the group's governing office to search for a formula that would unify the management system, so that there would be no disparity between one province and another.
The same sources indicated that many facilities in the provinces are characterized by randomness in management, and users complain about the bureaucracy of the administration, which has made thinking about unifying administrative systems an urgent matter.
