Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump"without any conditions," but he has yet to agree to a meeting in Moscow.
"I am ready to meet with Trump and Putin, either trilaterally or bilaterally. I am ready to hold a meeting without any conditions," Zelensky said in an interview with Sky News.
He reiterated that he was not prepared to go to Moscow to hold such a meeting, noting that the negotiations could take place in another country, and that there were many proposals from the Americans and Europeans.
At a press conference following his visit to China in early September, Putin stated his willingness to invite Zelensky to Moscow if he was ready to meet. However, Zelensky rejected the offer during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.
