A secret document 38 pages, which was revealed by Washington Post, brings to light the plan of the Trump administration and international partners for her future Gaza after the war.

The plan, named Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust (GREAT Trust), describes a ten-year regime of American administration , under which the damaged strip will be transformed into a tourist resort, industrial and technological hub.

Relocation plan

The text describes the temporary or permanent, voluntary relocation of all of Gaza's more than two million residents.

Palestinians could flee to other countries or move to controlled safe zones within the enclave during reconstruction.

Those who choose to withdraw will be provided with a financial aid package: $5,000 cash , four years of subsidized rent and one year of food.

At the same time, landowners will receive digital tokens , with the possibility of exploitation in new life outside Gaza or exchange with apartments in future smart cities which are planned to be built.

The funding, according to the document, will not require US government resources, but will rely on private and public funds.

The authors of the plan estimate an almost fourfold return on investment. $100 billion within a decade, with projects such as a port and airport in the southern part of Gaza, highways, electric mobility networks, data centers, tourist resorts and artificial islands modeled on Dubai.

The debate over the future of Gaza has preoccupied the White House and top officials.

THE Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that the US will take Gaza and they will transform it into Middle Eastern Riviera .

Meetings were held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Marco Rubio, the special envoy Steve Witkoff, the Jared Kushner and the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

There has been no official decision or policy announcement, however, as the Washington Post notes, many elements of the plan reflect Trump's vision.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu , has characterized the Trump plan bold , although he has not presented his own comprehensive proposal, beyond demilitarization and the return of the hostages.

In the Israeli government, ministers from the far-right component are in favor of permanent Israeli occupation and settlement.

On the contrary, the Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have presented a plan that envisages a technocratic government in Gaza with the participation of the Palestinian Authority and funding from the Gulf, which rejects any relocation of Palestinians.

Legal and social reactions

International experts warn that any plan that prevents Palestinians from returning to their homes or fails to provide them with adequate support in food, housing and medical care constitutes a violation of international law.

The professor Adil Haq of Rutgers University points out that even if financial incentives are given to leave, the Forced relocation remains illegal.

At the same time, Gaza residents, like 55-year-old Abu Mohammed who lives in a half-destroyed house in Khan Yunis , categorically declare that they do not intend to leave: I refuse to be expelled from my homeland. .
