(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Hwang Yoon-ki = President Lee Jae-myung said on the 2nd regarding his first press conference since taking office, which is one day away,"I will humbly answer the questions of the sovereign people, from current issues to the direction and vision of state affairs."

The president wrote on Facebook that day,"I have arranged this press conference to look back on the past 30 days, when I ran without rest with a sense of urgency, and to renew my determination for the next 4 years and 11 months."

The president evaluated the past month since his inauguration on the 4th of last month, saying,"The past 30 days have been an intense time in which I have engraved the earnest desires and hopes of 52 million citizens in my heart at every moment."

The president will hold his first press conference since taking office at 10 a.m. on the 3rd. The press conference will be live-streamed on YouTube so that anyone in the country can watch it.

The first press conference of every president has usually been held on the 100th day of their inauguration, but the Blue House explained that this president's strong will to communicate with the public led to the press conference being held earlier than before.
