“Anutin Charnvirakul” made his first statement as the 32nd Prime Minister, declaring that the Cabinet will work without holidays, solving 4 issues to repay the country and the Thai people, emphasizing that there will be no interference in the justice process, and ready to dissolve the parliament within 4 months.

At 12.17 PM on September 7, 2025, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the 32nd Prime Minister, made his first statement after receiving the royal command to appoint him as Prime Minister. Greetings to all respected Thai citizens. It is an immeasurable royal grace that His Majesty the King has graciously appointed him to the position of Prime Minister today. I stand here fully aware that entering the position of Prime Minister today may have many limitations in the performance of duties in administering the country. However, I would like to assure all respected citizens that I and my Cabinet will be committed to working tirelessly, using everything that we have. Whether it's physical or mental strength, we're working to help our country, Thailand, escape from various crises as quickly as possible.

I would like to thank the people for their confidence, through the trust and votes of the members of the House of Representatives, especially the members of the People's Party, who have supported me in resolving the immediate situation. You have sacrificed to provide a solution for Thailand, and after the vote, you have returned to your purpose of being the inspector.

And I would like to thank the members of the House of Representatives from the coalition government, such as the Kla Tham Party, the Palang Pracharath Party, the New Democracy Party, and my fellow members of the House of Representatives, who have supported and trusted me, enabling my government, under my leadership as Prime Minister, to be formed to serve our beloved country, Thailand.

Today, with the time we have, we will urgently address four issues that pose a threat and affect the lives of our fellow Thais. Issue 1: Economic Issues  We will urgently implement measures to reduce expenses, the cost of living, energy costs, travel costs, and various transportation costs for our fellow Thais and entrepreneurs. We will also address debt issues for farmers and low-income earners. We will seek various legal and facilitative measures to increase incomes for entrepreneurs and the general public, as well as to strengthen the incomes of local communities, which are the foundation of Thai society.

Issue 2: Security This is an ongoing issue. My government will expedite measures to resolve the dispute between Thailand and Cambodia through peaceful means in order to reduce the losses of the people of both countries. However, “Thailand must adhere to the principle that we must never lose even a single square centimeter of our land. Thai people must not suffer any losses. Thai people must live their lives in peace and happiness.” And the government will expedite compensation for the affected people. There may have been some delays in the past, but my government must compensate the people in the provinces bordering Cambodia for the various damages as quickly as possible, covering every household.

Topic 3: Natural Disaster Problems We must expedite the development of a warning system, which was already implemented during my tenure as Minister of Interior. I hope that during this short vacation, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and the various agencies with whom we have held discussions will not stop in providing warning systems, protection systems, rehabilitation systems, and various disaster warning systems for our fellow citizens. We must expedite the provision of compensation for damages to citizens affected by natural disasters in a timely, reasonable, and fair manner.

“I myself was very familiar with this issue when I was still the Minister of the Interior and will proceed with full and strong action, because I will also be holding the position of Minister of the Interior. The problems that arise will not be interrupted and there will not be any obstacles. I am confident that I will continue to receive good cooperation from civil servants in every department with which I am familiar.”

I'm not only familiar with my fellow civil servants in the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Public Health. During my time as Deputy Prime Minister, I also developed relationships and networks of cooperation with every agency, including the civil service, police, security, and military. During my time in government service, cooperation issues have never been an obstacle to my work serving the people. On the contrary, I'm confident in my ability to connect the dots and coordinate and expedite cooperation among all parties. The benefits that will be realized quickly through strong cooperation will be the benefit to the people. I'm confident that my fellow civil servants and I share the same goal.

Issue 4: Social Dangers: The government will seriously crack down on drug trafficking, human trafficking, scammers, gambling, and online gambling, by building cooperation with neighboring countries and friendly nations to eliminate all forms of social dangers.

"I would like to assure my fellow citizens that I have become Prime Minister this time, not because of anyone's favor, except for the favor of my fellow Thai citizens through their representatives. Therefore, I have only one group of people to whom I must repay favor, and that is my greatest wish."

Resolving the four main issues mentioned above, I assure you that cooperation and coordination will be required to ensure that my intentions, which are the intentions of all of my fellow citizens, are carried out efficiently and quickly, without any obstacles or obstructions. I am confident that, with the experience I and the Cabinet I am selecting to serve the people, there will be no trial period. I must carefully select them, and once everyone has taken the oath of office to His Majesty the King, they will be able to immediately begin their work with efficiency.

Regarding the concerns of the people, whether they be ethical concerns or legal issues, where they sometimes face unfair treatment or slander, those days are over. Regarding the concerns of the people, I would like to reaffirm that I and the government, which includes all ministers, will work solely on the basis of legality.

"I would like to reiterate that there will be no interference in the justice process, as some people are concerned about. Instead, we will allow the justice process to function according to the mechanisms stipulated in the Constitution and various laws. Justice must be served equally to all people. No one will force, manipulate, or slander me, as has been done in the past. I ask that the people be assured that in addition to not interfering, I will expedite and disclose the entire justice process, ensuring that all concerns and doubts are fully understood, including those of the litigants. If any wrongdoing is committed, action will be taken immediately, but only by the law, not by mob rule. I ask that the people continue to follow my work on this matter."

As for the concerns expressed by the members of the People's Party's House of Representatives, which are stipulated in the memorandum of understanding, my government will aim to amend the constitution to create a new one, following the process outlined in the section on constitutional amendments. Furthermore, there will likely be a process that the Constitutional Court will soon determine for its decision. "And after that, I will dissolve Parliament within the agreed-upon four-month timeframe, so that we can return power to the people, allowing them to decide the future of the country."

The 32nd Prime Minister continued, saying that although time is limited, he is confident he will receive support from all parties. He will devote himself to his work to the utmost in the next four months. Therefore, my cabinet and I will have no holidays, no vacations, and, if possible, no illnesses, no holidays, and no days that we call family vacations. We will rest as our bodies need to each day. I believe that within four months, my ministers, including myself, will be healthy enough to stand firm and work for the people to their fullest potential. We must accelerate the development of Thailand and help it emerge from this crisis within the time we have available.

We will then lay the foundation for the next government to continue its work, upholding the commitment to ensure the well-being of our people and the stability of their lives for lasting sustainability. We will also foster love and unity among the nation, building strength to continue to be our beloved Thailand.

Before concluding, he said,"I will not let the people's trust in me go to waste. I will devote my utmost effort to repay the country's kindness with honesty, loyalty to the King, and determination to serve my people, worthy of the trust you have graciously placed in me as your Prime Minister today. Thank you."
