- Our units continue to fulfill their tasks in the Donetsk region and systematically destroy the occupier - stated Zelensky in a post on the X social network, referring to the report of the Chief of the General Staff Olekander Sirsky.

According to him, since the beginning of the year, across the front line, Russia has lost more than 290,000 soldiers who were killed or seriously wounded, and most of these losses were recorded precisely in the Donetsk region.

Zelenski also stated that the situation on the Zaporizhzhya area, as well as on the border with the Sumy and Kharkiv areas, was analyzed in detail.

- We will continue our operations exactly as necessary for the defense of Ukraine. The forces and resources are ready - stated Zelensky, adding that"deep strikes" are already planned.
