Lithuanian Air Force Chief of Staff Col. Dainius Paškevičius said the drone was carrying only"two kilograms of explosives," which is significantly less than the usual 50-kilogram payload.
Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Šakalijen stated that the current assumption is that the out-of-control drone accidentally entered Lithuania and that Lithuania informed NATO of the findings so far and requested urgent additional support for air defense to protect Lithuanian skies from similar incidents.
