Trump's Speech to Israeli Parliament

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Egypt on a TUR flight to attend the"Sharm el-Sheikh Summit for Peace." President Erdoğan's plane skipped the runway in Egypt and then landed again shortly thereafter, drawing attention. It was learned that the decision to bypass Erdoğan's plane was made following news of Netanyahu's participation in the summit.

The"Sharm el-Sheikh Summit for Peace" in Egypt and the prisoner exchange between Hamas and Israel.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, one of the names invited to the critical summit, arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on a"TUR" plane to attend the "Peace Summit".

The plane carrying President Erdoğan overshot the runway at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. After waiting for a while over the Red Sea, the plane then landed at the airport. Erdoğan was welcomed there by Egyptian Culture Minister Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy, Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen, and embassy staff.

WHY DID ERDOĞAN'S PLANE BYPASS THE RUNWAY?

President Erdoğan's plane initially missed the runway and waited over the Red Sea for a while.

Accordingly, following the Egyptian Presidency’s statement that Netanyahu would also attend the summit in Sharm al-Sheikh, it was learned that President Erdoğan did not allow his plane to land in Egypt while it was in the air.

President Erdoğan's plane skipped the runway at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport and paused for a while over the Red Sea.

After President Erdoğan informed his counterparts that he would not attend a summit planned for Netanyahu and would return to Turkey, Netanyahu's attendance was reportedly canceled. With Netanyahu's decision not to attend, President Erdoğan's plane returned to Sharm el-Sheikh Airport and landed on the runway.

Türkiye SHOWED A CLEAR STANCE

Hande Fırat, who was on President Erdoğan's plane and gave information on the matter to CNN Türk, said that Türkiye clearly stated its stance after Netanyahu's decision to attend the summit."Initially, we thought it might have happened for a reason like being crowded at the airport. But then we received information from our sources," said Fırat, adding:"It was announced that the leaders of many countries, especially Turkey, would not attend the summit. Türkiye reacted clearly after Netanyahu's decision to attend."

This is a grave diplomatic discourtesy. Inviting Netanyahu is a grave diplomatic discourtesy shown to other leaders. Trump displayed the same diplomatic discourtesy in his speech to the Israeli parliament. He made it very clear that he stands with Israel.

Abdulkadir Selvi shared the following information about the"runway crisis": "As we approached Cairo, we learned of Netanyahu's decision to attend. We thought Netanyahu would cast a shadow over the summit. While we were wondering if another incident would occur, the plane skipped the runway just as its wheels were about to touch down."

As they returned, it was announced that Netanyahu would not be attending the summit. After circling for 19 minutes, the plane returned to the runway.
