Defense Ministry Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram held a security situation assessment with the CEOs of the major defense industries and with senior Defense Ministry officials, and discussed with them the acceleration of the production rate of vital weapons for the continuation of the campaign and the industries' preparation for the protection and survival of vital systems in the face of the Iranian missile threat. The CEOs of Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael, Elbit Systems, and Tomer participated in the discussion.

Major General Baram told the CEOs that"the ability to reach Tehran, the regime's and nuclear facilities, precisely like this and simultaneously, as well as to deal with large volleys of ballistic missiles, would not have been possible without groundbreaking Israeli technology, developed over years in the Defense Intelligence Agency and the defense industries. We face major challenges: Defense is not hermetic, and therefore strict adherence to Home Front Command guidelines is important - they save lives! Alongside the achievements, we must look ahead, strengthen the Israeli industrial base, enable greater production rates, and accelerate the development of the next generations of combat systems, in attack and defense."
