Air defense systems on duty destroyed six Ukrainian aircraft-type drones in the skies over the Belgorod region, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Telegram channel reports.
The drones were shot down on September 14 between 12:00 and 16:00 Moscow time, the defense department clarified.
Massive UAV attacks on the Belgorod region have been ongoing since the middle of the week, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said this morning. According to security agencies, 256 UAVs were launched at Belgorod and the Belgorod region alone. As a result of the attacks, two people were killed and 28 more residents were injured. More than 100 houses and apartments were damaged, and 122 cars were damaged. Large shopping centers will remain closed for now, the governor added.
