"The intensification and spread of major military operations in the Middle East risks the region and the world falling into war with irreversible consequences," she said.

Oman, the mediator in the Iran-US nuclear talks, strongly condemned the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Oman"expresses deep concern, condemnation and contempt for the escalation that has occurred following the direct air strikes by the United States on Iran," the state news agency said.

Qatar, home to the largest US military base in the Middle East, expressed concern about the serious consequences of US air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

As the Qatari ministry warned,"the current dangerous escalation in the region could lead to catastrophic consequences at both the regional and international levels." The ministry "calls on all parties to act wisely, with restraint and to avoid further escalation."

Bahrain, home to a large US naval base, ordered most government sector employees to work from home on Sunday, the start of a new workweek in the country, until further notice due to"regional conditions and current developments."

It has already been reported that Israel launched a military operation on June 13, striking Iranian nuclear facilities and other military targets, and Iran responded with missile strikes on Israel. Since then, mutual attacks have continued.
