After Trump, Israel also gives Hamas 'final warning': 'Devastating hurricane will hit Gaza City'

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has called on the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas to surrender or face destruction. Earlier, US President Donald Trump issued a"final warning" to Hamas, calling on the organization to release all hostages.

“This is a final warning to the Hamas murderers and rapists in Gaza and in luxury hotels abroad: Release the hostages and lay down your weapons, or Gaza will be destroyed and you will be exterminated,” Katz wrote on X.

"Today, a devastating hurricane will strike the sky over Gaza City, and the roofs of the terrorist towers will shake," he added. The minister added that"the Israeli army is continuing its operations as planned and is preparing for maneuvers to conquer Gaza."

Hamas previously said it was open to talks on the release of all hostages in exchange for a "clear statement" that the war would end and Israel would fully withdraw from the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported.

According to Israeli data, 48 hostages remain in the Gaza Strip. Of these, 20 are reportedly still alive.
