Ukraine's air defense: important news
As UNIAN reported, on the eve of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky revealed the effectiveness of Ukraine's air defense According to him, it demonstrates efficiency at about 74%, but additional efforts are needed to cover the rear energy sector, critical infrastructure, and logistics.
Lieutenant General, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Romanenko recently stated that Patriot's effectiveness in Ukraine has fallen from 42% to 6%. He said that the Russian occupiers have modernized their complexes for the use of ballistic missiles, and this has significantly affected their effectiveness. The lieutenant general added that Ukraine has already collected all the necessary information and statistics and transferred it to the companies that manufacture these weapons.
People's Deputy Serhiy Nagornyak named the only weapon, capable of protecting the Ukrainian energy sector from the"Shahedi". These, in his opinion, are helicopters. Meanwhile, mobile fire groups have become ineffective. He said that Ukraine needs 100 helicopters with which"you can calmly shoot down the"Shahedi"" so that they do not reach energy facilities.
