Two men, aged 42 and 33, were arrested in different areas of Attica on August 24 and 25, as part of an organized operation by the Narcotics Sub-Directorate.

The police used information and verified that the two defendants were involved in the trafficking of cocaine.

The 33-year-old was located near an intercity bus station, in possession of 3 packages containing 152 grams of cocaine, which he was transporting on behalf of his 42-year-old accomplice.

A day later, police raided the 42-year-old's home and handcuffed him. In a special area, 3 more small packages of cocaine weighing 1.1 grams were found. A pistol with a magazine and a cartridge were also seized from his possession.

The findings

In total, 153.1 grams of cocaine, 245 euros, a pistol with magazine and cartridge, a recording system and 3 mobile phones were found and seized, among other things.

The two arrested have previously been in the hands of the authorities for similar offenses.
