President of the United States of America Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation on Friday, July 4.

In particular, according to him, the conversation lasted about 40 minutes, and, as he put it, it was a"good conversation."
"Trump and Zelensky discussed the escalation of Russian strikes on Ukraine and the supply of air defense to Ukraine," the journalist noted.
Also, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, reported in Telegram that a"very important and meaningful conversation" took place between the presidents.
Trump spoke with Putin the day before
As UNIAN reported, on Thursday, July 3, Trump had a phone conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. According to its results the US president said about dissatisfaction with the conversation about Ukraine. Trump noted that progress on the issue of the war in Ukraine has not been achieved.
After that, on the night of July 4th, Russia carried out a massive combined attack missiles and drones against Ukraine. The main targets were the capital and the Kyiv region. Fires broke out in many areas, one person was killed and more than 20 were injured, including a child.
