The 27-year-old, 206 cm tall, one of the key players of the Lithuanian national basketball team, suffered a leg injury at the end of the match against Germany.

On Sunday, T. Sedekerskis said that he had suffered an ankle injury, which he hadn't had for quite some time.

"I can't remember the last time I had an ankle injury and my body automatically responded not as well as I could have. I won't lie, the pain is definitely there."

"This championship is long, we remain positive. The doctors are doing everything they can and everything will be fine," said T. Sedekerskis.

It is expected that the Lithuanian will still play in the next round of the championship in Riga.

The 206 cm tall T. Sedekerskis was seen on Monday as a candidate to stop Finnish star Lauri Markkanen, who is scoring 32.3 points per game.
