Donald Trump says the United States is facing a huge problem of division. In a phone interview with NBC News' Sunday political magazine, the US president also spoke about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, saying he is facing"a radical left-wing group of crazy people" who "never played fair."

US President Donald Trump said the United States must heal from the wounds of division - the US president spoke about this in a telephone interview with NBC News' political magazine on Sunday, MTI reports.

However, in a brief statement following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the president believed that what he was up against was"a radical left-wing group of lunatics who have never played fair."

Information shared about Tyler Robinson's personal background

Regarding the investigation into the Kirk murder, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spokesman said Sunday that they are continuing to investigate the record number of public reports received following the assassination, all of which are being verified, in order to bring charges against the suspected perpetrator.

Regarding the personal background of the suspected perpetrator, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, the FBI confirmed that the man lived in an apartment with his partner in the southern Utah city of Saint George, and that his partner was a transgender woman.

Authorities say the partner is fully cooperating with investigators and claims he was unaware that his partner was planning an attack. Their apartment is in the same neighborhood as Tyler Robinson's parents.

According to previous information from the FBI, the family also played a role in the capture of the suspected attacker, after Tyler Robinson's father recognized his son in the photos released by the authorities, and then, after consulting with the family, reported himself to the police.

In order to investigate, federal agents searched Tyler Robinson's apartment and seized computers, among other things, which were taken to the FBI's headquarters in Quantico for analysis.

The investigation found that Tyler Robinson was the one who fired the fatal shot from a bolt-action rifle from the roof of a university building shortly after 12 noon local time on Wednesday at Charlie Kirk, who was holding a discussion forum for thousands of young people at Utah Valley University on the institution's central square.
