Supreme Federal Court - Due to the sanctions applied to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, one of its members, the Supreme Federal Court hereby pronounces itself as follows:

1. The trial of crimes that involve a serious attack on Brazilian democracy is the exclusive jurisdiction of the country's Justice system, in the independent exercise of its constitutional role.

2. A criminal action is currently underway before the Court in which the Attorney General of the Republic has charged a group of people, including a former President of the Republic, with a series of crimes, including that of a coup d'état.

3. During the investigation, serious evidence of the aforementioned crimes was found, including a plan that involved the assassination of public authorities.

4. All decisions taken by the case rapporteur were confirmed by the competent Board.

5. The Supreme Federal Court will not deviate from its role of upholding the Constitution and the laws of the country, which ensure due process and a fair trial for all involved.

6. The Court expresses solidarity with Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
