US President Donald Trump reported that nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, were attacked.
Through the Truth Social network, the US president said the participating planes are outside Iranian airspace.
"A full bomb load was dropped on the main site, Fordow. All aircraft are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors."
Trump said that after the attack,"now is the time for peace."
US begins evacuation flights
The United States government announced this Saturday that it has begun evacuation flights from Israel with the transfer of around seventy American citizens from Tel Aviv to Athens, in the context of the current conflict with Iran.
"The State Department has begun assisted departure flights from Israel," the U.S. Department of State said in a statement.
"On June 21, the State Department arranged two flights from Tel Aviv to Athens with approximately 70 U.S. citizens, their accompanying immediate family members, and lawful permanent residents (LPRs)," he added.
The statement also called on U.S. citizens who can leave the country on their own to get government assistance first.
The US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, stated hours earlier on the social network X that the embassy was working"tirelessly" to help evacuate its citizens.
The U.S. government announced last Wednesday a program to evacuate by air and sea U.S. citizens who wish to leave Israel due to the conflict with Iran.
The Donald Trump administration this week raised the alert level for travel to Israel and the Palestinian territories to the highest level, due to the airstrikes that the Jewish state has been exchanging with Iran since last week.

He also urged Americans in Iran, a country with which the United States does not have diplomatic relations, to leave the country immediately or prepare to seek refuge for extended periods.
The start of the evacuation flights comes as US President Donald Trump is considering having the United States join Israeli strikes against Iran aimed at halting its nuclear program.
