Israel has made a “huge mistake” in attacking Iran.
This is what Iran's supreme leader said in a speech on Wednesday.
He calls Trump's statements "ridiculous."

On the sixth day of fighting between Iran and Israel, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gives a speech.
He mentions both Israel and the USA – and directs sharp criticism at the countries.
Israel has made a"huge mistake," he says, according to Sky News, which reports live from Iranian media.
He promises that Israel will be “punished.”
“The people will not forget the blood of the martyrs and the attacks on our territory,” he said in the speech.
Criticizing Trump
Furthermore, Ali Khamenei warns that American involvement in the fighting would cause"irreparable damage."
Earlier today, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in an interview with Al Jazeera that any US intervention in the Middle East would be “a recipe for an all-out war in the region.”
The Supreme Leader continues the speech by saying that Donald Trump has made"threatening and ridiculous statements."
The US should know that Iran will not give up, he says.
Yesterday, Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social channel that the US"knows exactly" where Iran's supreme leader is hiding, but that they do not intend to kill him -"at least not now."
Then he wrote “unconditional surrender” in capital letters.
Trump is approaching the conflict
On Monday, the United States redirected the course of an American aircraft carrier towards the Middle East, following increased tensions between Israel and Iran.
On the same day, a large number of American tanker aircraft were sent to Europe.
