The American headquarters in Kiryat Gat (CMCC) for supervising the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip will now be responsible for bringing humanitarian aid into the Strip - instead of the IDF and the IDF. This was reported this evening (Friday) by the"Washington Post" citing an American source.

The US becoming responsible for the issue of bringing aid to Gaza, the report said, was completed today."The Israelis are part of the talks, but the decisions will be made by the US," the source clarified.
Several other sources familiar with the details said the move makes Israel the second most important factor in making decisions about the nature and amount of aid to be sent to Gaza. However, several sources familiar with the work of the US command in its first weeks described it as"chaotic and indecisive."
The American headquarters located in Kiryat Gat has representatives from 40 different countries and organizations."One of the advantages of bringing all the representatives is that it allows you to differentiate the main focus and gain an understanding of what is needed in the field," said Tim Hawkins, spokesman for the American Central Command, about the headquarters.
Although the US President's 20-point plan for Gaza includes a significant increase in aid to the Strip, the US has not yet explained how this will be done. The Americans have also not clarified whether certain restrictions imposed by Israel on the entry of aid will be lifted, and whether their plan will be accepted by organizations and bodies involved in distributing aid in the Strip.
