The latest situation of the Thai-Cambodian border conflict has information about the Cambodian military equipment used in this operation. According to the army report, this morning, a clash began at Prasat Ta Muen, Surin Province, at 7:35 a.m. on July 24, 2015.

Tensions began to rise on the Thai-Cambodian border near the Ta Muen Thom temple when Thai special forces heard the sound of a Cambodian UAV and later found Cambodian soldiers armed with weapons, including RPGs, approaching the barbed wire.

Although the Thai side attempted to negotiate, at approximately 8:20 a.m., the Cambodian side opened fire in the area opposite the Thai base of operations.

Rocket launcher, 122 mm BM21 multiple launch rocket system 

• Launching tube system: 40 barrels 
• Firing range: 20-40 km 
• Guidance system: In general, the BM-21"Grad" is a rocket system that does not have a guided system and focuses on carpet firing over a wide area.

The BM21 is one of the world's oldest and most widespread multiple launch rocket systems, developed by the Soviet Union and still in use by many countries.

Rocket launcher, 122 mm 90 B multiple rocket system

• Launching tube system: 40 tubes 
• Firing range: 20-40 km 
• Guidance system: No guidance system, but currently developing 122 mm rockets with guidance system for some MLRS systems, which may be used with Type 90B

The 90B is a Chinese multiple launcher based on the Soviet BM-21"Grad". It features a computerized fire control system and GPS for increased accuracy.

Rocket launcher 300 mm PHL 03 Multiple Launch Rocket System

• Launching tube system: 12 tubes 
• Firing range: 70-130 km. 
• Guidance system: With guidance system

The PHL-03 is a Chinese multiple launch rocket system developed from the Russian BM-30 Smerch system, capable of firing a variety of 300 mm rockets, including guided warheads.

155 mm self-propelled howitzer model SH-1

• Firing range: 20-50 km.

The SH-1 is a Chinese 155mm self-propelled howitzer mounted on a truck. It has a stated range, but a confirmed range of 50km may require special ammunition. For this type of howitzer,

KS-1C anti-aircraft missile

• Firing range: 70 km.

KS-1C  is a Chinese medium-range anti-aircraft missile system capable of attacking air targets.
