The Moroccan reserve team drew with their Omani counterparts, this Friday afternoon, with a score of 0-0, in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025.

The first half saw significant Moroccan pressure, with a noticeable decline in the Omani players, but the Moroccan team's attempts did not translate into goals, and the half ended with a score of zero.

The Moroccan team finished the second half with a man down, after Hamdallah was sent off in the 53rd minute, following a rough tackle on Oman player Musab Al-Shaqsi.

Hamdallah's expulsion caused a change in the Lions' style of play; the numerical disadvantage forced the national team to retreat and play on the counter-attack after the Omani team's advance.

Tariq Sektioui made several changes in the second half, but that was not enough for the Moroccan team to win the three points of the match, and they had to settle for a draw after the match ended in a goalless draw.

It should be noted that the Moroccan national team will face the Saudi national team in the third round, next Monday, at 6 pm Moroccan time.
