Due to the emergency situation, a number of trains that travel through Boyarka, Kyiv region, will temporarily operate on a changed route.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on, Ukrinform reports.

"Due to damage to infrastructure near Kyiv as a result of the emergency, a number of trains that pass through Boyarka station will operate on a modified route," the post says.

The company emphasized that they are currently taking care of the safety of passengers and train and locomotive crews.

"Clarified information regarding schedule changes will be provided later," UZ added.

Soon, railway workers specified that instead of the Zdolbuniv - Kozyatyn-2 section, trains would go via Korosten. And to bypass the Zhmerynka - Fastiv-1 section - via Myronivka and Trypillya-Dniprovske.

"Yes, train No. 23 Kyiv - Chelm is already traveling on a changed route via Korosten with a delay, the train will be accelerated to reduce it. Passengers from Berdychiv station will be picked up by our train 31 with a subsequent transfer," the company said.

Train No. 139 Kyiv - Kamianets-Podilskyi, No. 141/143 Sumy, Chernihiv - Rakhiv and No. 21/103 Kramatorsk, Kharkiv - Lviv will also be deployed and sent on a changed route.

Meanwhile, the head of the Kyiv OVA Mykola Kalashnyk informed:"The explosions heard by residents of the region are not related to an enemy air attack." He emphasized that no enemy air targets were recorded in the area, and no air alert was announced.

"Operational services are working at the scene. All necessary actions are being taken. More detailed information will be provided later," Kalashnik noted.

Earlier, information appeared on social networks that strong explosions were heard in the Kyiv region.

As reported, in July, Ukrzaliznytsia changed the schedules of a number of passenger trains due to stormy weather conditions in Transcarpathia, as well as in Slovakia and Hungary.
