On August 10, as a result of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate, the LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka oil refinery was hit.

As UNIAN sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine report, the attacked enterprise is located in the Russian Republic of Komi, more than 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The affected facility is involved in providing the occupation army with fuel and lubricants.

According to local Telegram channels, local residents heard several loud explosions in the area of the refinery, after which fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency services went there. Some local residents reported that as a result of the explosions, a hole appeared in at least one tank on the territory of the refinery. In addition, local residents report the disappearance of electricity and mobile Internet in the city.

Ukrainian intelligence sources add that the drones hit a tank with petroleum products, causing the contents to spill, and damaged a gas and gas condensate processing plant used to produce propane-butane and gasoline.
