The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Wednesday, that the weather will be generally characterized by relatively cold weather in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the eastern region, the southeast and the high plateaus, with snowfall expected in the Middle Atlas, the northern High Atlas, the eastern high plateaus and the Rif.
The sky is also expected to be partly cloudy with rain or showers in the Saiss, the Middle Atlas and the eastern region. The sky will also be partly cloudy in the southwest, Chaouia, Doukkala, the phosphate plateaus and Oulmès, the northern High Atlas, the western plains and the far south of the Kingdom.
Winds will be relatively strong to occasionally strong along the Mediterranean coast, the High and Middle Atlas Mountains and the eastern region, with local sandstorms.
Relatively strong sandstorms are also expected along the northern, central and southern coasts, along with local sandstorms.
Minimum temperatures will range between -04 and 01 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 01 and 05 degrees in the rural, southeastern and high plateau regions, between 11 and 18 degrees in the southern desert regions and near the coasts, and between 04 and 11 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
As for daytime temperatures, they will be lower in the eastern region, the Mediterranean coast, the Middle Atlas and the far south of the Kingdom, while they will see some slight increase or remain largely unchanged in the rest of the country.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough along the Mediterranean coast and the Strait of Gibraltar, locally rough to very rough north of Tarfaya and after noon south of Mehdia, slightly rough to rough south of Tarfaya and will become rough to very rough during the evening.
