He continued,"We look forward to de-escalating tensions and helping Syria achieve stability." US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed in a statement monitored by Alsumaria News,"I just finished phone calls with the relevant parties, and we share deep concern about the escalation in Syria." He added,"We are moving towards de-escalation in Syria within the next few hours," noting that "there is a long-standing historical rivalry between various groups in southwestern Syria, which has led to an unfortunate situation." He stated,"We are communicating with the Israeli and Syrian sides, and I believe we are on our way to de-escalation," expressing his hope to "get back on the right track to help Syria achieve stability."
