For two years, the Egyptian Red Crescent has been a lifeline for humanitarian and relief aid to our Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of thousands of tons find their way inland with difficulty and in spite of everything they arrive.

From July 27 to October 10, 2025, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched 48 aid convoys under the slogan"Provides Pride... From Egypt to Gaza," carrying thousands of tons of aid, including food supply chains, flour, fresh bread, baby formula, tents, medical supplies and therapeutic medicines, relief supplies, and diesel, as a message of dignity and ongoing support from the Egyptian people.

After a long and arduous journey undertaken by the Egyptian Red Crescent, carrying the feelings of the entire Egyptian people in solidarity, support, hope, and pain, shouldering its humanitarian responsibility and fulfilling its country's long-standing role, all eyes turned this morning to the Zad al-Izza convoy from Egypt to Gaza on its 49th day.

This convoy, which carried humanitarian and relief aid following the historic moment of implementing the ceasefire agreement.

With the first minute of the morning ceasefire agreement's implementation, the Egyptian Red Crescent raised its readiness level to maximum within its logistics centers in Arish, preparing to bring in the largest possible number of trucks today—400 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid from Egypt to Gaza.

On its 49th day, the Zad al-Izza convoy carried more than 9,000 tons of urgent aid, including more than 6,000 tons of food baskets and flour, and nearly 1,000 tons of essential medical and relief supplies needed by the Gaza Strip, including portable toilets, tents, blankets, and mats, in addition to more than 2,000 tons of fuel. This comes as part of ongoing efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of the Gaza Strip.

As many Palestinian families head back to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues its mission of providing shelter, clothing, food, and other essential supplies through its convoys, which embody Egypt's unwavering support for our Palestinian brothers.

It's worth noting that, over the period from Sunday, July 27, to Friday, October 10, 2025, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched 48 aid convoys under the slogan"Provisions of Dignity... From Egypt to Gaza," carrying thousands of tons of aid, including food supply chains, flour, fresh bread, baby formula, tents, medical supplies and therapeutic medicines, relief supplies, and solar energy, as a message of dignity and ongoing support from the Egyptian people.

The 49th Zad al-Izza convoy represents a concrete expression of Egypt's will, as endorsed by the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit, and serves as a tangible part of its contribution to providing aid and support to our Palestinian brothers.
