Trump says Iran warned US before attack on Qatar military base

Monday, June 23

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran warned the United States before firing missiles at its military base in Qatar, which he said meant no lives were lost.

"I am pleased to report that NO Americans were hurt, and almost NO damage was done. Most importantly, they got it all out of their 'system' and hopefully there will be no more HATE," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

"Perhaps Iran can now move forward toward peace and harmony in the region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same," Trump added.
