Legendary wrestler and then movie star Hulk Hogan has died of a heart attack at the age of 71. Emergency crews were called to his home in Clearwater, Florida, but only pronounced him dead.

Hogan died just 3 weeks after his wife Skye denied he was in a coma on bed after neck surgery.

In the 1980s, Hogan transformed wrestling from a regional show to a multinational one that rakes in billions a year.

He was one of Donald Trump's most ardent supporters.

Hogan was born Terry Gene Bollea on August 11, 1953, in the golf mecca of Augusta, Georgia.
