The president did not provide any other details about the situation in Kupyansk.

The situation in Kupyansk

As UNIAN reported, on October 31, the head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group, Viktor Tregubov, noted that the Russian occupiers located in the northern regions of Kupyansk. According to him, the enemy is currently trying to occupy approximately 20% of the city's districts in the north and is simultaneously trying to cut off Ukrainian logistics using UAV strikes. At the same time, Ukrainian UAVs are cutting off all enemy supplies,"so in this regard, the city is somehow under a double siege, if we take the air specifically."

In October, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin spread false information about the alleged encirclement of Kupyansk. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders denied this statement by the Kremlin leader. Heavy fighting was going on in Kupyansk and its surroundings, and the occupiers tried to gain a foothold in the northern part of the city, however, there was no environment.

We will remind you that in 2022, after the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the city of Kupyansk was temporarily occupied. But later, the Ukrainian defenders managed to free him in September of that year.
