María Corina Machado, the opposition leader who fought to overthrow Nicolás Maduro's regime and bring freedom to Venezuela, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, a choice that has been celebrated practically around the world.
While the important recognition that the policy received was known, on the other side the panorama was totally different: Diosdado Cabello, Maduro's closest bishop, appeared armed and announcing a new militarization.

Once María Corina's election was announced, the news began to spread throughout the world and on social media, and has even led her to go into hiding.
All this was happening while the Minister of the Interior, surrounded by his closest staff, was leading the Independence Plan 200 in the state of Aragua.
Amid this event, Cabello continued the regime's rhetoric over the past few days, citing speculation about a possible US plan to remove them from power.
“In the face of any aggression against our country, the weapons of the Republic will be in the hands of the People,” he said, while holding a microphone in one hand and a rifle in the other.

These words sparked applause and jubilation among those present at the event, which gave the dictatorship's second-in-command even more energy to continue his challenging message.
"With the deep conviction that we are doing the right thing, the message we are sending to those who have not yet decided to join this ranks is to join the defense of the homeland. It is no longer time for this defense to be the sole responsibility of the Armed Forces," he added.
The Chavista spokesperson stated that this is not a message intended to send any kind of threat, as they are"people of peace." Rather, they emphasize that they will defend their country to the bitter end.
He also spoke again about his theories on drugs and once again harshly criticized Donald Trump's administration.
Sectoral Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, asserted that those who have requested invasions are motivated solely by their ambition for power; he asserted that they seek to have the bombs reach schools, hospitals, or any other location in the nation.

"It's the country that consumes the most drugs of all kinds in the world. It's the country in the world where the most people die from alcohol consumption," he said.
While Cabello, faithful to the regime's style, sent a message of war and zero freedom, on the other side the situation was completely different: María Corina was applauded and praised by the entire world for the way she has fought to change the reality of this nation.
